When are Fan Builder Points awarded?
Fan Builder campaign points are awarded automatically when the ad campaign completes. This allows us to ensure the campaign definitely went ahead before adding points (i.e we don't need to add and subtract points if the ad is rejected by a social media platform).
You'll also get points for engagement (likes, comments and shares) generated during the campaign. You'll be awarded these throughout the campaign, rather than at the end.
If you're targeting a particular month's prize, make sure your campaign ends in that month
If your campaign is in the "completed" status but you haven't received any leaderboard points yet, please contact our support team .
When are Distribution Points Awarded?
Activity points are awarded once your release moves to the Published status. Awarding them after it goes live saves us from adding and then later subtracting points if the release is cancelled or rejected by streaming platforms.
Indirectly, you will also earn Streaming points from your published release whenever your songs are played on streaming platforms.
If you're looking to release near the start or end of the month, remember you will receive your points on or shortly after release day.
